Q1: What is a home or business inventory?

A home inventory or business inventory consists of a detailed description of all personal or business owned belongings within a residence or office space and also includes off-site premises a well.  A home inventory is a comprehensive description of all valuables in a house including electronics, furniture, computer equipment, large and small appliances, clothing, jewelry, etc.  A business inventory is just as detailed as a home inventory but concentrates more on furniture, business equipment, etc.  The most recognized benefit of a home or business inventory is most apparent when an unexpected disaster occurs and the need to file an insurance claim is needed.  A home or business inventory takes the second guessing out of the equation when all you are left with is memory to protect your lifelong belongings.

Q3: How long does it take to complete the documentation?

Times will vary and are dependent on the size of the premises, the amount of assets, etc. but typically physical inventories can be completed in 2 to 4 hours onsite with the remaining processing taking place at our offices.

Q4: When will I receive my completed inventory?

Generally, most home or business inventories are delivered 7 to 10 business day from the day the physical inventory is completed.

Q5: How much does a home or business inventory cost?

We will do inventory in a timely manner to make it easier on the homeowner or business to provide a low cost to our consumer.  EIS can do as detailed an inventory as the customer wants or we can inventory as small as one important item.  The price of inventory varies depending on the size and detail of the residence or business.  Please remember that EIS is determined to provide a service for all in need so we have been successful at keeping our cost low to be able to keep all protected.  EIS has packages available or we are able to customize packages to suit your individual needs.
